Twilight Folly

I organized a small group to go to the Twilight area of Metz. We were doing well by advancing slowly and luring to a snell without distant rock throwers. We invited Noivad to join us, but he fell on the way. That's when the trouble began. As we went back to get him, we moved too quickly and got separated. Everyone except J'jh fell. Eventually, with the help of Clam and Nemesis, we recovered, losing only a little time and pride. I guess the moral of the story is not to underestimate what the next spawn or snell can bring, however quiet it's been so far.

Busy on TI

PTF went to Tenebrion's Island. At first we had a good time hunting Darshak elites in manageable numbers. We made our way to the TI annulus, where we had our first setback. Several of us fell, but the rest of the group eventually got back to us.


Then we decided to go to Metz and ran south, right smack into two Necromancers and other nasties. I survived long enough to chain Babajaga, Kalian, and Xenos into the hut in Flander's Field. I was able to sunstone for help and tell people where we were, and then one of the Necros found me.

Our group needed two rescue efforts. The first (including Baltok, SnowLion, Talin, and Taryn) saved the four of us in Flander's hut, plus Yor, but then Yor fell in a chain run. We EPS'ed out, but J'jh and Kalian fell in the Ethereal Plane. We regrouped, added some people (Afrit, Buckwheat, Dandelion, Hunter, J'nder, Revlis, Zhirem) to the rescue party, and tried again starting from the south TI beach. After a while, we were successful in reaching and raising Noivad and Sam. A big thanks to everyone who helped!

Sarra 'dons, Beware!

After an aborted attempt to get a foothold in South Metz, we changed venues and went on a fun Sarra hunt. Yor got a chance to practice his budding blood blading skills. Who would have guessed that he would go for the BB? Anyway, we cleared a few snells and made it out alive. Good times.

Revenge at Ash Valley

PTF had a fun hunt at Ash Valley. A gang of spriggins made things challenging. Our first attempt was an utter failure, due in large part to my overeagerness to get into the fort, instead of waiting for a better opportunity.


Babajaga and I escaped, and we waited a while for reinforcements. When we had recovered and raised our fallen, we got a thrilling insight: "* You learn from your achievements. You gain experience." Soon afterwards, we captured the snell and had another great feeling: "* You learn from your revenge. You gain experience."
