Cachus Returns

While we were hunting Slate Caves with PAG, Cachus came out of the library and joined us. It had been years since we had seen him! Later I heard from Hunter that Clubby had been around recently too. I hope to see more Elephants make their way out of the dusty stacks.

Slate Caves

PAG went to Slate Caves today. We had more healers and fewer fighters than usual. The Slate Arachnoids would have been a threat if not for Kalian's offensive prowess.

A Small Sunday Hunt

A few of us who aren't in EAT got together for a fun little hunt on Metz. As usual, we had a few exciting moments, but we all made it out in one piece.

Four Hunts

Four Hunts: the Bad, the Ugly, the Aborted, and the Good

I came out of the library and was invited to join a group at the south of Metz. By the time I arrived, however, many had fallen. We rescued the fallen and decided to try a different part of the island.

Next we went to the Deathroot area. In one nasty area (shown in the sketch), most of us fell. All but three had to depart. I had a very long and boring run through Purgatory back to town.

When I got to town, Galadriel told me that the rest of the group had gone to Death Trap Noids. She went to the library soon afterwards. (At least I got to see her! Galadriel and I are rarely in the lands at the same time.) At DTN, the top of the cave was very crowded. Kalian tried to run the Noids away from the entrance, but he fell before he could get far. He departed so that we could try another place.

The last hunt took us back to Metz Island — this time the passes. With a few twists and turns, we cleared the plateau. Lorikeet's Horus was crucial in being able to raise people fallen to rocks. Kalian opened an EP portal so we could return home. Just then, several Twilight Wendeckas spawned. Thankfully, we all made it out of there without any departs.

Return to Metz

Attendance for Pitch Assault Group was low, so we decided to go back to Metz Island. We went to the mountain passes guarded by Ancient and Basalt Greymyrs. We killed quite a few of them and had only three left on the plateau.

Elenis Reyav fell and called "Out!" I tried to chain him, but I fell to a Greymyr's rock on my way down the stairs. Despite my body blocking the way, Yor was able to escape.

Elenis and I were too fallen to be raised by the healers. The others finished off the remaining Greymyrs, and then we headed back to Puddleby.

PAG at Metz

After escorting Fundin to pathfinding book 3, Pitch Assault Group went to the Deathroot area of Metz Island. The expedition went more or less smoothly until we reached the Deathroot Temple. The recluse arachnes were tough.

The group was ultimately felled by a spawn of a handful of Haremaus outside the Temple.

Spring 89, 566

I came out of the library today after Natas came in and bugged me over and over again. It was fun... We did Earthwyrms on GI then went to do Deep Tokhans. Arbitur was the other healer, and we made a great team. Was a great way to spend a long night out in the fray.

Relaxed hunting fun

Earlier today Natas and I along with Mujin-Kun, Blackhole took a peaeful stroll through the earthwurm caves with the help of Astor. At one point we had 4 EWs on us and managed to do ins and outs until all were dead. Natas is collecting iron by the way, so if you have spare, you know who to give/sell it to. Later, with the help oh Sai and Sakura, Natas, Bh, Yor and I took on KI caves during the full moon day. We had a few close calls, such as when everyone but Natas and the healers fell. Blackhole, Yor and I missed the fight, but from what I heard Natas had to solo two cold lyfes.

EP Rift Neutralized

Exiles (including Hunter, J'jh, Noivad, Yor and I) battled Ethereal Plane creatures invading from a rift on Gunga Island. During the battle, bolts of ethereal energy shot from the rift to the Kyuem. When enough energy had been absorbed to create a balance, EP creatures stopped appearing, and the Kyuem became active.
